Ditto on the you tube recording. While I would love to see this happen, I would understand why the speakers and attendees would decline the option. It comes at a high cost. People get stiff when the camera goes on and the quality of the presentation goes down. A hidden camera is a good option, as long as the powers obtain the speakers' permission to publish afterwards, and before posting to Youtube. The possibility of a hidden camera does not usually inhibit people. This event should be recorded and archived. The speakers are in their prime and there may not be a replacement cadre with comparable experience to give this seminar twenty years hence. The mountains will be there for the foreseeable future. |
