UK2 VP546 Fieseler Storch 1946-05 HMS Triumph.jpg
Bet they had to slow down the ship first. I've had the pleasure of seeing the Storch owned by the Flying Heritage Museum (Everett WA, USA) show off its abilities. Amazing doesn't begin to describe. On the landing shot, he stopped before he got even with me - 100' roll-out, max.
