As soon as the update is available, everybody should do the update
before

e takes of the next time. That is the only way to make sure that all
airbor=
ne systems can communicate.

I don't think that would work so well because an unknown minority of
the pilots who want to fly soon after the update may be the ones who
need to sort out a cable or help to do it. Better to all do it at the end

of the month and ask around and make sure everyone in one's club/
contest/soaring area is organised.
