SCOH "On Ramp" to XC Soaring & Competition

The Soaring Club of Houston will be hosting 3 "On Ramp" weekend events this year to bring beginning XC and beginning Contest pilots up the on ramp. The events are open to any pilot who has a private license and has demonstrated soaring skills (multiple 2 to 3 hour flights). Each pilot will be paired up with a more experienced mentor for lead and follow.

The weekend events will start with morning discussion topics, followed by tasking, flying, de-brief. On Saturday evenings the club will host a BBQ. For those wanting to spend the night we have a clubhouse with bunk rooms and an RV park.

For non-members there will be a $120 entry fee per weekend to cover 2 tows, temporary club membership, daily awards, and the BBQ.
