Default Quick Question about Sporty's Air-Scan V

Hey Everyone,

I just purchased one of the famed Sporty's Air-Scan V scanners.
Needless to say, I love it. However, there's one quirk. I live in the
boondocks of upstate New York, so the reception isn't all that good.

Now, the reason why I posted is because I'm wondering if anyone out
there has purchased the magnetic base antenna for any of their Sporty's
handhelds or the air-scan V. I'm considering getting it, but I'm not
sure how it measures up.

If anyone can give advice, I'd appreciate it!

Thanks,
Sarah

I'd shop around first. The one from Sporty's probably works well, but I am
thinking you can just as good or better results for less money. The prices
on thier scanner acessories are out of control. FIFTY DOLLARS for an AC
adapter?

Try poking around on here to see what you can find.
