![]() Hey Everyone, I just purchased one of the famed Sporty's Air-Scan V scanners. Needless to say, I love it. However, there's one quirk. I live in the boondocks of upstate New York, so the reception isn't all that good. Now, the reason why I posted is because I'm wondering if anyone out there has purchased the magnetic base antenna for any of their Sporty's handhelds or the air-scan V. I'm considering getting it, but I'm not sure how it measures up. If anyone can give advice, I'd appreciate it! Thanks, Sarah -- elationaviation ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Posted via OziPilots Online [ http://www.OziPilotsOnline.com.au ] - A website for Australian Pilots regardless of when, why, or what they fly - |

I'd shop around first. The one from Sporty's probably works well, but I am
thinking you can just as good or better results for less money. The prices on thier scanner acessories are out of control. FIFTY DOLLARS for an AC adapter? http://www.radioreference.com/ Try poking around on here to see what you can find. -- Hello, my name is Mike, and I am an airplane addict.... |
