Default 41 Headed West

Some of you remember Walter Cawby, he was an active contest flier for years and a retired airline captain. Walter gave up flying gliders a few years back and still flew his beloved Baron.
Walter was always interested in sailplanes, competed all over the country and his wife Kay was a;ways a big part of his glider activities. Kay also is an accomplished glider pilot, having flown many high performance sailplanes.
Walter recently became sick and after a brief illness headed west.
