Default XM Wx Garmin 430/430W with Garmin GDL-69?

I recently swapped my 430 for a 430W. Is anyone using XM weather from
a GDL-69 on either a 430 or 430W? How do you find it on that
[relatively] small display? What about getting METARs, for example -
is there too much button pushing, or not so bad? Would you make the
same purchase decision again or put the XM weather on different
device?

thanks,

Alan, PP-AMEL-IA
