Airman 1st Class Carl L. Anderson Jr., 21, of Georgetown, S.C., died Aug. 29 as result of enemy action near Mosul, Iraq. He was assigned to the 3rd Logistics Readiness Squadron, Elmendorf Air Force Base, Alaska.
