Because you're on WebTV, you would probably have no way of knowing this, but
on Usenet, "previous post" is essentially meaningless, for reasons you can
learn if you read the postings on the newsgroup, "news.announce.newusers".

For example, on the news client I'm reading this on, the post previous to
yours was " Mark-48 Test." I'm guessing you may have been referring to
a post about the universe unfolding as it should.
