Garmin 196 updates?

Has anyone had any problems updating their garmin 196 using Windows Vista as the operating system? Thank you for your thoughts on this topic.

I've heard a lot of people saying they have problems getting the updates from the garmin website to work. Some mechanic shops will do it. I work for JA in the chicago land and they will update for the same price as online.

I hope I don't have to pack it up and ship it out. I have been able with my old computer to update the unit with no problem. We now have a new PC and it is running Windows Vista and this is where my problems began to unfold.
