You will find that sectional maps won't be of
much help when trying to locate approved waterways and marinas for floatplane landings because they are obsolete. Those locations probably don't exist anymore. Solution: The Water Landing Directory. http://www.seaplanes.org/index.php?o...41&Itemi d=68 --- Mark4 |

I still maintain new ones in the plane, although they are incredibly hard to find. Since we moved to Texas I've been forced to buy them on line, cuz no one down here sells them. -- Jay Honeck Port Aransas, TX Pathfinder N56993 |

A fellow can even find his way these days with a good cell phone. Now, when you start considering a cross-country amphibious mission things get a little more ambiguous. The FAA doesn't care what you do once you're not in air, and on water you're relegated to the whims of whoever rules the water that week. Lots of funny stories abound about "outrunning" the game warden. Get caught and you'll be removing wings and hiring a transport trailor. That is, if you're lucky enough to have a road nearby. --- Mark4 |

If you were a pilot you'd know, but since you're only a nonpilot troll, then I see no need to explain. Show your ass again there , Mark(ie)4? No, but you just did, Ari/Jeffrey Bloss/Gezellig. *rofl* You sure do laugh a lot.
