WX1000 Stormscope battery
I own a Mooney M20J with a WX1000 Stormscope whose backup battery has run out.
The factory wants $600 to replace the battery. (Flat rate repair policy.) Does anyone know of a practical alternative? I have an electronics background but have no technical data on the unit. Also, am I directing the question to the right new group; is there a more appropriate forum? Thanks for any help. Dennis
