My S-Tec 50 needs adjustment (chasing the heading bug) and I'd like to
find a shop that has the S-Tec autopilots figured out. Any recommendations in the Pacific northwest, preferably close to the Portland/Hillsboro area? -- Ben Jackson http://www.ben.com/ |

Any recommendations in the Pacific northwest, preferably close to the Portland/Hillsboro area? At Aurora, Pacific Coast Avionics has a good reputation. Unfortunately, when I was there they were so popular that I couldn't get them to focus on my airplane because they were too busy. I ended up getting some avionics work done at PDX Flightcraft instead. More recently, I was impressed by the avionics showroom at Hillsboro Aviation, and even more impressed with the responsiveness of their maintenance staff to a couple issues I had while there as a transient. Those are three options for you to investigate. |

Any recommendations in the Pacific northwest, preferably close to the Portland/Hillsboro area? If you don't mind hopping over the Cascades, I've been pretty happy with Leading Edge Avionics in Bend. I've not done autopilot things with them, but they are (I'm pretty sure) a S-Tec dealer -- Frank Stutzman Bonanza N494B "Hula Girl" Hood River, OR |

I've used the folks at Spencer on Thun Field (Puyallup). Willie DeHaven did
the install of my S-Tec 20 and I wouldn't hesitate to have him work on the 55X in the new plane either. Reasonably priced, good work. No relationship other than as a customer. -- Patrick Flynn Sammamish, WA Cirrus SR22 N6099Z KRNT "Ben Jackson" wrote in message news:ndZkb.831578$Ho3.234698@sccrnsc03...
