Hi,
this is Matteo, I'd like to ask your opinion on the European GPS augmentation service called EGNOS and its new Safety-of-Life service that has been just certified for use in aviation. Here is a link ( http://egnos-portal.gsa.europa.eu/ne...ichshafen-2011 ) on a recent article that describes its usefullness and also how it was received during the AERO Friedrichshafen 2011 trade show. I'm not sure this is the right forum to post, but in case it is, I would be curious about your opinion on this service, thanks a lot! Cheers! |

I’ve looked a bit around, and found this article about the certification of an aircraft for EGNOS LPV procedures. http://egnos-portal.gsa.europa.eu/fi...-retgsa_en.pdf Does somebody of you did it? Do you usually flight with LPV SBAS aided systems? Matteo |
