first, you read all the books. Then you go out and fly a lot! Or,
just jump on a plane and come fly with me and I'll show you. If anybody is actually interested in wave soaring, I highly recommend registering and taking the mountain wave course he https://www.meted.ucar.edu/sign_in.p...D=&fromModule= Send me your results Boggs On Jun 8, 4:18*pm, Fred Blair wrote: I have never flown in the mountains, but how do you know where the down drafts might be? We've got FIVE volcanic peaks that we regularly see and soar around
and a few more just out of range. http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cascade_Range On Jun 9, 3:11*am, gotovkotzepkoi gotovkotzepkoi. wrote: Wonderful video Gary! You are a lucky man to have an 11,000 ft volcano in your back yard. Keep the videos coming. We need more inspirational videos like yours that portray the essence of soaring and less techno chit chat. -- gotovkotzepkoi |
