Any idea where this was taken? In the late 1950s I was all over one of
these at the former Suffolk Air Force Base on L.I. NY during "Air Force Day." The long climb up the metal ladder from the front cargo floor to the cockpit was memorable. IIRR the "printable" nickname of this bird was "Big Shakey." This pic sure brings back memories. Brian |
