This is just awful.
When I spotted the bird at OSH, it gave me a thrill that made me feel like a
kid again. I feel so bad for the family of the pilot and everyone who put so
much love into the airplane. Sometimes life really sucks.

It is really sad and I thought about it alot today. I feel for the family.
But what a way to go... flying the finest airplane I have ever seen (and
that is without any exaggeration).

The paper in Casper, Wyoming has a story on the crash. Pilot James
Wright was killed. It sounds he mentioned mechanical problems during
his refueling stop in Gillette.
