Request for comments on Sporty's handheld
Just bought an ICOM A5 and love it. No Nav needed since I have a handheld GPS.
Trip In article , says... The latest copy of Sporty's catalog arrived a couple days ago. They advertise a hand-held Nav/Com for $279, which sounds like a good deal. What I'm looking for are specific comments about the Sporty's unit. Have you got one? Had any trouble with it? Have you sent one in for repair/mod/servicing -- how was the service? Can I beat the price with a different unit? Tailwinds to all, Casey
