Any "organization" can call themselves a University and offer any
"degree' they desire. Any person who expects to enhance their resume with an "Engineering Degree" had better be sure that the ciriculum that grants the degree is accredited by ABET (Accreditation Board for Enginering and Technology). Schools, Colleges, Universities, etc. are not accreditated. The individual engineering ciriculum is accredited. Most potential employers and all reputable graduate schools know this distinction. Be careful with that tuition money whether it is from your pocket or mine (as a taxpayer). Ed Byars |
