Off Field Landing in 2-33 on video
I was emailed by Larry that he had a crew from Good Morning America at his house. Might be shown beginning of next week. Let's hope that this somehow will cast our sport in a positive light...I don't know how it could. Wish GMA featured the beauty and challenge of soaring and not a crash. Fingers crossed that Larry pulls off a hat trick and can portray our sport in a good way.

Bruno - B4 If you connect again, tell him to suggest the GMA visit Uvalde for the WGC;^) Frank Whiteley PS: This video was used at our soaring seminar earlier this year during a talk by A8 about land outs and having a plan.

Was the video playing at higher than actual speed? The approach looked
way fast for a 1-26. He was landing downwind and downhill. It was obviously played faster than real time. Watch how fast he opens up the canopy at the end of the video. Looks to me in about 1.5 times the speed
