New Castle Regional s (R4S)

Just a Note on the Region 4 South New Castle Contest. 9/16/2012 - 9/22/2012 It's an amazing opportunity and place. For those new to XC, it's a great place to rub shoulders with some of the most experienced and competent glider pilots in the US. These pilots will be acting as mentors to the new people to New Castle. The entry list includes many past Regional and US National Champions as well as many experts in composite work, New Soaring Instrumentation and SSA Competition Rules.

As Evan (T8) has alluded, this will be a Handicapped contest in the 15M and Std. Class. You don't need the latest and greatest to participate.

It's a camping experience with great amenities available so as not to break the budget. Because everybody is at the field, there is a lot of Social time available. There is something very special about the time around the camp fire under the stars. (and under the repaired Picnic pavilion) It's well worth the time and effort to attend.
