![]() The recent edition of the US Air Force Museum's FRIEND'S JOURNAL has an amusing story about using early wooden P-38 drop tanks as sailboats by those serving under General Chenault in China. It describes using various other aircraft parts for for modifications. One model utilized two drop tanks as a catamaran with four aircraft seats. (Got any similar tales you can share, Big John?) |
