Thanks ! I don't see the J-5 on the sport list, but who knows it could have
been added. I see he just sold a Taylorcraft and I think most of them qualify. I sent him an email and maybe something can be done, thanx again! Patrick " jls" wrote in message ... It'll still give you the taildragger experience you're looking for. HTH. z |

The big dilemma!
I don't think I can fly it once I get my sport pilots license. Maybe he will get another plane like the Taylorcraft..or even my favorite a Luscombe 8A. I am going to be building a Hummel Ultracruiser Plus so that is why I would like to get some taildragger time. I'd love to buy an old Luscombe..seen a few nice ones in classifieds. but no hangar and no way I can get financing( another divorce story! HAHA) Maybe I will get lucky one of these days and buy a house with enough land for my private little airstrip and build my own hangar, and maybe find a fixer upper Luscombe! Patrick,
Are you on the Luscombe List? If not go to yahoo.com and join. It's the best source of Luscombe related information. If you plan to fly Sport Pilot, be sure to limit your quest for one of these fine birds to the 8A model. The other models do not meet the weight requirements. Good luck, Deb -- 1946 Luscombe 8A (His) 1948 Luscombe 8E (Hers) 1954 Cessna 195B, restoring (Ours) Jasper, Ga. (JZP) "W P Dixon" wrote in message ... The big dilemma!
