If by 'adjustable' you mean 'luminance', then a 'drop-in' LED lamp won't work very well with an *unmodified dimmer* circuit. It also (at this time) probably won't produce the same *luminance* as an incandescent bulb in the same package size. Depending on the arrangement of the LEDs, you'll find that the light intensity is also very non-linear relative to the dimmer-control position and it might not get dim enough with the current rheostat you have. |
