For purposes of safety or determining if you should buy an aircraft, I
would not rely on the response to a quarry about AD's in a newsgroup.
I would do my own research.

Or hire an A&P to go through his FAA Database CD and give him a report..
then also pay him to go through the log books and complete a pre-purchase
inspection.

Since the Jantar Standard 3 is certificated as Experimental in the U.S. you
will not any FAA issued AD's. However, the BGA website has a very useful
listing of Service Bulletins.
