My girlfriend and I have decided to offer our services as ground crew at the
Region 9 Championships in Parowan, June 20-26. Me, so I can learn the difference between a task and a turnpoint, and my way better half, so she can learn how to crew. Though I'm a new pilot (65 hours since starting last fall), I have some experience in FAI sports competition. I am energetic, hard working and very competitive. Pam and I know how to read maps, use GPS systems, talk on radios, cook steaks and drink beer. Oh and we learn purdy fast too. My first preference is to support an Arizona/ASA competitor, but if we get an offer from a nationally ranked competitor that we can't refuse ... we won't! So, if you're serious about competition and need some help in June, we're serious about helping you win, if you'll show us a tow rope or two.
