We had a wonderful week+ of fun flying mixed with racing at the 2017 Nephi OLC Games. Thanks to all the pilots that attended.
Nephi has been chosen to host the 2018 Sports Class Nationals. We are again honored to host a Nationals in Utah. We will also host a regional sports class contest (region 9) at the same time to keep the launch time reasonable for the single national class. There are 40 spots for the nationals and 25 spots for the regionals. We invite you to consider signing up for either the nationals or the regionals (not both please) and come fly with us in 2018. Here are links to find out mo 2018 Sport Class Nationals info and registration sign up: http://www.ssa.org/Contests?cid=2387 2018 Region 9 Regionals info and registration sign up: http://www.ssa.org/Contests?cid=2388 Yes, pilots who fly the regionals are allowed to stay after and continue to fun fly / OLC fly during the rest of the Nationals. Should be fun a fun mix for the pilots. ![]() Nephi also has a tow plane outside of events towing every Fri - Sun during the season. We hope pilots will stop by and fly with us outside of events as well. Bruno - B4 and the Utah Soaring Association |

Hi Doug,
Yes and yes. There is now a permanent tow plane at Nephi all soaring season long with tows every Friday - Sunday for sure. If a group wants to come out and fly during the week, sometimes we can arrange for a tow pilot to come out on the other days too. Yes, we are talking about the 2018 season for these two contests. Please click on the links I gave for more info about them. Bruno - B4 |
