Hi all,
It has come to my attention that the National Geospacial-Intelligence Agency (NGA)[1] is considdering to stop distributing the DAFIF database to the public. A lot of soaring-related software relies on this source of information for their airspace data. In the proposal[2], there is a call to respond if you have problems with this idea. Well, we, and I mean the whole soaring community, do! Many soaring flightcomputers rely on this source of data, and all will be affected by it's disappearance from the public domain. So please, send your protest to to try to avoid the loss of this important data source!
