I have a UH-1H that I want to get running for a display or just something
to turn up in my back yard. I need a T-53 engine it does not need paperwork or be airworthy just runable. I also need another transmission it also does not need to be airworthy. Any contact would be helpful . Brien |

You might check with any Community Colleges in your area, If they have an
Aviation department they sometime release surplus donations (and they have so much that it is sometimes sold for scrap). The training aids they do use are used over and over again so the stuff piles up. I have seen wharehouses full of stuff. Another option may be to visit a Forest Service aviation service center if therer is one nearby. They also have thousands of tons of surplus stuff handed down by GSA. They however usually release by sale through the GSA surplus sales unless you know someone very importent in the department. http://surplussales.gsa.gov/ Don't forget eBay, I seen them there on occasion. Also http://www.govliquidation.com/list/c7032 this week I don't see any, last week they had 12 turbine engines complete but none were aircraft type only APU and GPU turbines. So its hit and miss.
