WI airport closure

The village of Grantsburg, WI is considering closing their public
municipal
airport.

Does Grantsburg have a local AOPA rep? If not, someone there needs to
step up to the plate and become one. AOPA has a lot of clout that can
be brought to bear on Federal, State and local officials in these kinds
of battles.

But they need boots on the ground to be effective.

I appeal to the members of the groups to please help save this
airport.
Even if you have never visited Grantsburg, WI you - as pilots- can
respond
and help educate the village and show your support for it's EAA
chapter
who's email addresses are listed below. Please remind the village
that an
airport is a valuable service that brings unseen economic benefit to
the
community.
