It is about time, the weather here in South Florida is finally changing, yes fall is upon us and the soaring weather is getting better.
After a dismal summer and an October that was about like July the cooler dry air has made it south. I flew yesterday for about 3 hours and got to about 6K AGL. All I can say is that it is about time! |

Ah **** Bob, that means for us poor guys north of you, our season starts winding down. Here in south central AL we are too far north and west to enjoy your So. FL fantastic winter codx and sea breeze convergence, and were just a little too far South to play the appalacian ridge game!

In Ottawa we packed the hangar on Saturday, and this afternoon, we get 10cm/4" of snow... |

Mike, I fly out of Vero Beach, yesterday I took off from my own strip, FD25 and headed west toward Labelle and North toward River Ranch and landed back at X52 where we have our glider club . Yesterday it was really good down south especially around Labelle and north toward River Ranch. Unfortunately I did not even turn a logger on, too busy trying to figure out the instruments in a new ship. Bob |
