Hi all,
I'm on a student budget, and I'm looking for a bargain on any Oudie IGCs out there that aren't being flown. Maybe you upgraded or haven't flown in a while. Regardless, please send me an email if you have one that you're willing to part with! Cheers! Patrick Grady email: |

If you are one a budget why not Use Top Hat or XCSoar?

Yep, I'm looking for a logger in addition to the flight computer.
I'm currently using XCSoar, and I really like the interface, but it seems to not be too reliable. Limited phone battery life, and it seems to like to crash every few hours. If I'm partway through a task, its really annoying to lose everything. Many people at my club use the Oudie IGC, and the integration and ability to switch gliders easily looks really attractive. |

The oudie igc’s are pricey. I upgraded to one. I think paul at Cumulous still has a trade in deal so if u can pick up a regular oudie for reasonable price here, you may be able to trade up into a igc and save a few dollars.

Also, if the only function you want is ICG recording, not for approved badges or contest, you can download the SeeYou recorder, no charge. If you're having some problems with XCSoar, you might also check on their forum for a solution. I've been using it for 13 years and not seen the type of problems you're describing. I've run it on tablets, and Android phones. Another solution to the battery life is an external battery. I also had good luck with that before. |

BTW, I believe the Oudie 2 is still approved for all badges and state record flights. For national and international records I’m not sure about.

Patrick,
Send me a private message and I'll talk with you about an Oudie (used) that I think is available for around $200. Mike |

What about something like this? https://wingsandwheels.com/avionics-...flywithce.html |
