Does anyone know if a Continental O-200 or a C-75 rear accessory case will
fit an A-65? Reason for asking is that I'm wanting to add a starter and a generator. Thanks, Monty |

Can you elaborate as to the modifications necessary to make a -12 acc case
work on a A-65 crankcase? Thanks, Monty "Cy Galley" wrote in message news:8muze.144887$xm3.82381@attbi_s21... Not as they come from the factory. But anything is possible with a talented machinist but the FAA will NOT approve without a 337. "pwm" wrote in message ... Have to change a bunch of gears. but the crank is has the same bearings.
I've been told one can put an O-200 crank in an A-65 AND the cylinders as well. There is a company that has an STC to put a -12 accessory case on a -8 C-85 so I'll be it can be done on the A-65. All it takes is money and a good machinist. The real problem is it adds weight and after being done ;the 2 place plane becomes a single. -- Cy Galley - Aeronca Aviators Club Newsletter Editor & EAA TC www.aeronca.org Actively supporting Aeroncas every day "pwm" wrote in message ...
