well, it's a residential airpark. the taxes are low, you buy a one acre
lot for approx 30K or so, build your fancy house and hangar, and keep your plane right at your house. schools are good for the kids, air is clean, and flying is uncontrolled airspace. plus stocked fishing lake, community horse barn, safe rural indiana location 60 miles from chicago. http://members.aol.com/lakeaeroestates/ fly in and visit, public use airport C98 on your chicago sectional.

about 1 acre+) to the north is a state game preserve---the kankakee river flows through this. to the south are farm fields and east are farm fields. very quiet safe area, and the setup has been in place for 20+ years.
