http://www.doav.virginia.gov/Tempora...Fly-In2005.pdf FLY-IN "Come Roll on the Grass" Campbell Field Airport (9VG) 2nd Annual Fly-In & Campout Weirwood, Virginia-Eastern Shore of Virginia October 15th-16th, 2005 (Saturday Sunday) Sponsored by EAA Chapter 108/UL - Ray's Raiders This is a fun fly-in and overnight campout for all aircraft and ultralights. Campbell Field is on the Eastern Shore of Virginia, the Southern end of the Delmarva Peninsula. The Atlantic is 2 miles to the East and the Chesapeake Bay is 2 miles to the West. Come and enjoy this rural and natural area. Food and beverages will be provided but, if possible, please bring a dish or drinks to share. Campers! Come and enjoy the darkest & starriest skies on the East Coast! We have 150 acres for under the wing or in the woods camping. We have an outdoor shower and water available 24 hours and an indoor bathroom. Following sunset we will have a huge bonfire and all kids are welcome to roast marshmallows. We will provide chocolate and graham crackers for the best smores around! Any participants interested in a Wine Tour or a Horseback Trail Ride please contact us so we can arrange it.
