	how well the throat mics work. Since I can get a separate throat mic and use my new in-ear custom fitted, whooptie-do, gee-whiz-bang headphones, it might be an interesting option. Thank you and regards, Gary G.  |

Most of the throat mikes out there are the old, WW-II carbon mikes, which require an occasional solid rap to get the carbon granules separated. They do not have the fidelity of a dynamic or electret mike and may come off as scratchy or distorted in use.  |
