I've got five phones (Mine, wife, three kids).
I refuse to cough up another $25/MO. When I signed the two year contract, text messages were $0.01 each. They increased the price by a factor of ten. They also claim this is not "A material change to my service", therefor I have to pay $875 to cancel ($175 x 5 phones). wrote in message ... If your not inclined to use txt msg's on your phone, we can send to your email address instead. Food for thought. What makes our service unique is that you can set trigger parameters for your wx notifications; for example, set a Metar report to be emailed to you before a trip only if the wind = 10kts or ceiling = 3000 etc. This way, you only get the email if the parameter hits otherwise you don't. For those pilots who do make use of their cell phones, they only get the txt msg if the parameter hits as well. |
