Default Pilots still needed to test wx maps on cell phone

We still need pilots to help test a new weather service. Get aviation
weather info such as satellite and nexrad radar images sent to your
cell phone. See us at www.wxnotice.com

You need to change your txt msg plan. I have Verizon too and I pay
4.95/MO for 250 txt msg's and/or pictures per month.

I've got five phones (Mine, wife, three kids).

I refuse to cough up another $25/MO. When I signed the two year contract,
text messages were $0.01 each. They increased the price by a factor of ten.
They also claim this is not "A material change to my service", therefor I
have to pay $875 to cancel ($175 x 5 phones).

I hear you.

If your not inclined to use txt msg's on your phone, we can send to
your email address instead. Food for thought. What makes our service
unique is that you can set trigger parameters for your wx
notifications; for example, set a Metar report to be emailed to you
before a trip only if the wind = 10kts or ceiling = 3000 etc. This
way, you only get the email if the parameter hits otherwise you don't.
For those pilots who do make use of their cell phones, they only get
the txt msg if the parameter hits as well.
