If there's anyone out there who still wants to comment on the Washington
ADIZ, today is the last day, so go to: http://www.aopa.org/adizalert/
and follow the instructions.

Also, there's a very good article in the Washington Post on the ADIZ and
it's effects...

Thanks for the reminder. Done.

Go to http://dms.dot.gov/submit and input Docket Number 17005 and
follow instructions for electronic submission.

AOPA's stated goal: To generate the largest number of individual pilot
comments to any FAA rulemaking ... Ever!

Currently there are 17254 Submissions, but wouldn't a more noble goal
be to apply some critical thought on the issue, and submit reasonable
solutions?

Reasonable solution to what? How to "protect" the general public from
"terrorists" flying Cessna 150s?

The problem is that the proposal is an attempt to solve a problem that
isn't real or serious in the name of public opinion.

I supplied a reasonable solution: Roll back the rules to the way it was
in August 2001.

Thanks for the reminder. They will definitely be looking for comments
from anyone that hasn't sipped from the Kool Aid.
