Kev
The Clarks are OK, BOSE way expensive. I discovered a long time ago that ear plugs under the headset did the same thing and a lot cheaper! BTW, there is a question over in Just Helicopters in the new forum regarding simulators. Thought you could give some good input there if you choose to go visit. Rocky |

![]() Kevin, We just got a couple of the Bose ANR headsets at work...unfortunately they won't interface with our ICS in the Chinook. A buddy and I took them out on the flightline one day and turned on the ANR with the APU running to see what it was like, and good God, was it quiet. I KNOW there's no way an R-22 can compare with the King of the Whop-Whop's ( read H-47 at over 120 decibels) for noise...just my 2 cents. Well you can't go wrong with the DC's...We've been using them for years, and
they seem to be able to take a beating from both the crew guys and the customers... "The OTHER Kevin in San Diego" skiddz "AT" adelphia "DOT" net wrote in message ... Very quiet and very comfortable.. Definitely worth the $600 they cost me. (and my kid can wear my old H10-13s now ) |
