Maybe contact the CIA, nobody else could afford the cost.
Look at other nearby airports. "Flyingmonk" wrote in message oups.com... | Ron, | | Do you have contact info for flying club at Dulles? Please email to | chaisone(at)yahoo.com. | | Thanks, | The Monk | |

there used to be a flying club at Manassas called American Flying club.
Last time I talked to any one who belonged was about 10 years ago. They had a pair of Cherokees 180's Michelle Flyingmonk wrote: Ron, Do you have contact info for flying club at Dulles? Please email to chaisone(at)yahoo.com. Thanks, The Monk |

oups.com Leesburg, Manassas are close enough for me, but I don't know of any clubs there, do you? Aviation Adventures (http://www.aviationadventures.com) has ops at both HEF and JYO. I know a few of the instructors at Av-Ad JYO and I'd feel quite comfortable flying with them. There's also Aviation Education (http://www.av-ed.com) where I got my instrument training. They're also a good outfit. -- John T http://tknowlogy.com/TknoFlyer http://www.pocketgear.com/products_s...veloperid=4415 Reduce spam. The club I was involved with at Dulles is no more. Insurance costs (especially for the more interesting planes such as the Navion and the taildraggers) just got do hard to get and prices for TIE DOWNS at Dulles went up from $125 to $350. As for clubs in general, I don't know of any these days in the local area. There were some at HEF, but I think they have also ceased operations. My email (while the stuff in the from line should route to me via a few spam filters) is still ron at sensor dot com. |
