What is the name of the 50? 60? year old homebuilt that looks like a
high-wing Sonex? I've been to the website - they even ask: 'Doesn't ______ look like a Sonex, with the wing on top?' http://builder.sonexaircraft.com/cgi...on=completions Pages of Sonex Aircraft completions. Montblack I thought I bookmark'd the site - guess not. |

Sounds like you're thinking of the Tailwind.
John Monnett was pretty good friends with Steve Wittman, and at one point was starting to kit the Tailwind. Montblack wrote: What is the name of the 50? 60? year old homebuilt that looks like a high-wing Sonex? |

I first read MOntblack's post, with the rearward fslanting gearlegs and that windshield being same angle as the front cowl and all. The Monk |

I'd bet the third one is flying by summer. There's about 4 or 5 guys working on that one.
