Highwing side-by-side aerobat?
Is there a homebuilt design comparable to a Cessna 150 Aerobat? How
about a Wagabond - is it good for spins and simple aerobatics?

You can definitely build a Wagabond as a clip-wing. Even better, you could put a clipped Taylorcraft wing on it, which would allow more speed and better inverted flight.
