1978, 1716 TT, Pfeifer trailer, Cambridge M-Nav vario, Terra Radio, all
automatic control hookups, original gel coat, April 06 anual. Located at Williams Soaring Center, Williams CA. $18K OBO. Contact . The Mini was introduced about the same time as the Pik 20 and ASW 20. The Mini's cockpit is quite roomy - suitable for larger pilots. This is one of the first sailplanes with automatic control hookups - the same wing-root mechanism now seen with a Discus or ASW 27. The Mini has terminal velocity dive brakes, and an all-flying stab that is similar to the Std. Cirrus. Only about 200 were made, after which it evolved into the Ventus. There is a good Johnson's Flight Test report if you are interested in details. A photo of this Mini is shown on the Wings and Wheels Want Adds site: http://www.wingsandwheels.com/wantads1.htm - page 3. |
