Mary Ann Plunkett was talking on the telephone when she heard a "terrible, rattly" noise. She saw the plane, watched it disappear behind the trees and figured it went down. Then Jacob White saw the plane nose-diving, without any wings. By that point, the plane was no longer making any noise, he said. He saw it go down into the woods behind his house. Tragic. |
