Does anyone know if the Ruby Dry or the newer Amber Dry Dehumidifier
DH600 is distributed in North America? Is there a 120V version? If not, does anyone know of an equivalent dehumidifier available in NA which uses a dessicant rotor (silica gel) instead of a compressor? http://www.svsp.co.uk/Shop%20Website...umidifiers.htm Amber Dry DH600 highlights: * Effective down to 1 C, whereas most traditional compressor dehumidifiers lower operating limit is 5 C and the performance reduces sharply below 15 C * In addition to drying the room the air temperature is raised by up to 12 C I've already read most of the threads on winterization and condensation prevention on RAS. Thanks for the information. Background: I am considering storing a glass ship in a Cobra trailer outside for the winter. The ship will be flown (wave and ridge, hopefully) and unfortunately hangar space for the trailer might not be available. Thanks in advance. VARR |
