All Mustangs were made in the US. Other countries
supplied their own modifications to them.........

i always like how brits will claim they designed it. it was a pure north
american aircraft corp design. the brits first bought it and they get credit
for the merlin engine, but even those were made here by packard and
improved upon.

not 'watchmakers' and custom fitting that Rolls Royce used.


Packard Merlins apparently also came with a standard toolkit, which always
impressed the ground crews.
