Off-topic, but in need of help
I just got hold of an excel spreadsheet from someone, but I don't have
excel. Is there any other program I can get (free) that will open an excel spread sheat? It's very important that I see this. -- Alan Erskine

Open Office is a suite of programs that are quite similar to the MS Office
suite and they are available for a range of platforms. Generally, they are quite compatible with the equivalent MS product unless you are using very involved macros.
