FINAL ASSEMBLY - All-weather F-106D's for the Air Force move down the
assembly line at Republic Aviation's Farmingdale, N.Y plant. The Mach 2

Yep, F105's for sure. Was loudest jet I ever heard during my USAF
days in the late 1960's at Nellis.

Duh.......That is an F-105. The F-106 is a Delta wing aircraft that
resembles the F-102 except for the vertical tail.

Obviously, Don's finger was one key off when he typed the aircraft number.
Everything else refers to the F-105.

Sure looked like a Thud to me. I almost got run over by a pair of 106's,
Delta Daggers I believe. Looked like a F102, the Delta Dart.
