The Southwest Soaring Championship will be at El Tiro Gliderport in
Marana Arizona. Great late season racing in southern Arizona using SSA regional rules with multiple classes offered. Held Labor Day weekend and the following weekend, the Southwest Soaring Championship is sponsored by Arizona Soaring Association and hosted by the Tucson Soaring Club. CD will be Tony Smolder. ASA entry fee is $35 for non-members. TuSC requires a $30 annual guest membership which must be paid and approved in advance. Tows are $40 and there is a TuSC $5/day field charge for guest members.
